Continuous Improvement Through Unannounced Fire Drills

In 2021, Hallmark Care Homes identified an opportunity to further strengthen emergency preparedness across its portfolio.

Working closely with the organisation’s Health & Safety Team, Tower Fire carried out a programme of unannounced fire evacuation drills at care homes throughout the group.

These exercises were intentionally conducted without prior notice to staff, allowing our experienced former fire service professionals to observe genuine responses under realistic conditions. Each drill assessed:
